About

A technology department, sized for your business

AIMSP was founded in 2026 on a straightforward observation: the businesses that need good technology leadership the most are exactly the ones that cannot justify hiring it.

A business of 10 to 50 people is in an awkward gap. It is too big to run on a consumer router and whoever is best with computers, and too small to employ an IT manager, let alone the security specialist and the systems administrator that manager would want. So it ends up with a solo contractor who is competent but overloaded, or a large provider whose smallest client is four times its size.

The result is predictable. Nobody owns the whole picture. Security controls that take an afternoon to enable never get enabled. The backup has never been restored from. The cyber-insurance questionnaire arrives and six answers are no. And when something genuinely goes wrong, the business discovers that nobody was ever actually accountable for it.

AIMSP exists to be that accountable party. We run the whole stack — the help desk, the laptops, the email, the phones, the network and the security — and we bring the technology leadership that normally only arrives with a full-time hire. Automation and AI are how we do that work at a price a small business can carry, which is where the name comes from. It is a description of the operating model, not a marketing department's idea.

Leadership

Who runs it

Patrick Danielewski

Founder and Fractional CTO

AIMSP is led by its founder, who works with clients directly as their fractional CTO rather than handing them to an account manager. In practice that means the person who sets your technology strategy is the same person who understands your network, and the same person you can call.

The fractional model is the point. Most businesses of this size need senior technology judgement a few days a month, not a full-time executive — but they need it to be real judgement, from someone who has actually run the systems and carries the consequences of the decisions.

How we work

Four commitments

Say the expensive thing early

If the right answer is that you should not buy what you are asking us to quote, or that your five-year-old server needs replacing before anything else is worth doing, you will hear it on the first call rather than in month four.

No commissions, ever

We take no margin from vendors. It is the only structure under which our advice about what to buy is worth listening to.

Documentation is part of the job

Every environment we run is written down — the diagram, the asset register, the recovery runbook, the access model. It is yours. If you ever leave, it goes with you.

Earn the month

No three-year contracts. We would rather have to be good than have you contractually unable to leave.

The name

Why AIMSP

AIMSP is short for AI MSP — an managed service provider built around automation. The legal entity behind it is Fractional Tech Office LLC, which is the name you will see on an invoice or an agreement.

Founded 2026. Based in Austin, Texas, serving businesses across Austin and Central Texas.

Find out what you're actually running
